Alarm should stop buzzing as soon as I dismiss it!

I love my Charge 5, except for one thing: when I dismiss a silent alarm, it keeps buzzing for like “bzz, bzz, bzz, bzzzzzzz, bzz, bzz” before it finally stops. This drives me bananas every time. Did I really dismiss the alarm? I look at the screen; yes, I did. I just really really wish that as soon as I dismiss the alarm, the buzzing would stop. (Like every other alarm in the world. Like every Fitbit I’ve had before this one.) This seems like something that could be fixed in a firmware update. Or does everyone else’s Fitbit alarm stop buzzing right away upon dismissal, and only mine is like this? It’s like it’s saying “I know you hit ‘dismiss,’ but I just have to keep buzzing for two more seconds!” Arg. Anyone else aggravated by this?

It's even worse if you hit 'Snooze'....continues to buzz for about 30 seconds

Hi, thanks for taking the time to share the experience with the alarms on the Charge 5, @KTk8 @SunsetRunner.

Just to confirm, please let me know what exactly are you seeing on the screen once you tap to dismiss the alarm. Make sure that you're tapping on the read icon instead of the "Postpone" option.

I just tried this on my Charge 5 and was able to dismiss the alarm right away, but I did notice that it requires you to firmly double tap on the screen; similar to when you're trying to disable the water lock feature. If it's not dismissing the alarm, please try tapping a little harder to see if it works.

I'll be around.

The screen changes to the alarm screen, which says in the middle:

  02:15

Wake up!

At the top, there’s a yellow half circle that has “Zzz” and at the bottom, there’s a red half circle that has “X”. When you swipe up from the bottom  (red half circle) to shut the alarm off, it shows a red circle in the middle of the screen that has a little alarm clock inside it and underneath it says “Tap to dismiss”. When you tap that red circle, the buzzing stops immediately.
When you swipe down from the top (yellow half circle) to snooze the alarm, it says “Snoozed 9min” on the screen, but it continues to buzz and buzz and buzz. Tapping does nothing to stop the buzzing.
