Community shows this is an issue since 2022. 3 years and no solution! 3 years! Google doesn't care. Any decent company would have had a hotfix firmware update to fix such a major issue.
I updated my Fitbit charge 5 firmware to the latest and it made my device unusable.
1) Add card notification dozens of times in a day. Tried all the resets reinstalls etc. Still get the annoying notification.
2) Battery life went down suddenly from a week to less than a day
Google chat will first lie and say 'Sure, no worries the notification can be stopped from the fitbit app. Also the battery is draining quickly due to deterioration'. They try to stick you with a discount code and will say 'we will keep monitoring', 'appreciate your patience' and other meaningless poop which has nothing to do with fixing the issue at hand.
Fitbit software quality has gone mediocre after the google acquisition. My wife is an Apple watch user. My friends have Garmins. They have never had auch major bugs. James Park and Eric Friedman, Sundar Pichai, please fix this!

I've have the same problem since 2 days ago. I've managed to get the constant add card notification to stop, but my battery has gone from almost a week to less than a day. Please respond if you find a fix!
