Another Charge 5 sync problem: PC

My phone isn't compatible with the Charge 5 - which didn't surprise me as it is 10 years old - but my tablet wasn't either. So, I installed the Windows 10 app for Fitbit. After an initial sync during set up, the Charge 5 refuses to sync again.

I've checked that the Bluetooth functions are working on the PC by re-pairing my tablet. The connection works perfectly between those devices.

I've restarted the PC, tried to re-pair the devices, restarted the Fitbit. This is my first fitbit device, and the situation is not very impressive.

Hello @slross and welcome to the Community forum.  I'm sorry, but you can't set up a Charge 5 on a PC.  You need a compatible Android/iOS phone or tablet.  Compatible devices
