App doesn't show details anymore.

Charge 5 works perfectly together with Android app on my smartphone and website dashboard. Everything is pushed to my account.

But when I want to enter my weight, or look at my activity details, the app shows an empty screen. Sometimes it shows a page to enter my weight in pounds instead kilogram, and the save button doesn't work anyway. This situation is going on for several days now.

Log out, log in makes no difference.

I have the same app on my tablet,  works fine. I sync with the faulty smartphone app.

Thank you for sharing that you've been experiencing this inconvenience to see and log some of your data and that you already tried a few troubleshooting steps. 

If you're still having trouble with the app not showing you the information. Please the following combination of steps: 

  • Log out from the app.
  • Clear Cache for the Fitbit app on your phone's settings (Settings > Apps > Fitbit app > Storage > Clear cache)
  • Restart your phone. 
  • Log back in to check if you're able to see your data. 
  • Uninstall and reinstall the app, as this has been useful for other users experiencing something similar. 
  • Try to set up your Charge 5 as a new device in your account if you're still having the same problem.

App went back to normal yesterday. I shall try these tricks when it happens again. It was not the first time it occured, so it will come back.

I did try a simple log out - log in but that didn´t work. Clearing the cache makes sense indeed.
