The app worked this morning but now crashes immediately upon opening. Turning the iPhone off and back on doesn’t help. Will deleting the app and reinstalling help and will that delete the data?

I have deleted and reinstalled five times now, and yes turned off phone and turning back on didn’t help. Nor has FitBit customer service been so far able to help.😫

Hello @MaryBS
I just saw you in another post ? I understand you have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Fitbit app, restarted your phone but the Fitbit App continues to crash immediately upon opening. When you uninstalled the app and reinstalled did you pick delete app or offload app?
If you choose offload app then it basically keeps the data your trying to delete. If that’s the case do this instead:
Step 1: Tap to open Settings.
Step 2: Tap General.
Step 3: Tap iPhone Storage.
Step 4: Tap on an app you want to clear.
Step 5: Tap Delete App. Do not select Offload App, as this keeps the data you’re trying to delete.
Step 6: Tap Delete App again in the slide-up prompt.
Step 7: Reinstall the app from the App Store.
😃 hopefully this helps out
