This new app update is a real downgrade. Hate that I can’t see battery life. It’s visually boring. It’s hard to quickly identify what you’re looking for. Please bring the older version back. Going to start shopping for a non-Fitbit product next time.

This app update would fail a freshman UI design class. They took away the battery level percentage, they used literally half the screen to show steps, and I now have to scroll to see basic info that was available on the main screen previously. Changes like this typically go through sleeves layers of design and approval. That system at Fitbit is obviously broken. I’m looking for alternative devices now, too.

Agree! I can't read the battery % on my Fitbit screen as the text is too small! Now I have no way of knowing! Why can't they put the battery % next to the device on the "connected to" page. Really annoyed...

If by paying for a subscription you mean signing up for Premium, it doesn't help how the app looks or give you the battery percentage back.

Totally agree. And battery drains so fast. Please give us back the old app so we can see battery percent.

It's worse than just looks - some functionality doesn't even work anymore. For example I can't edit Activities - they've made the box on the app readonly so a Workout can't be updated to a more specific exercise type afterwards. Really they should rollback until they've fixed fundamental problems like this.
