Auto swim recognition is not longer working on my Charge 5

Without changing any settings the fitbit charge5 isn’t auto logging any swims the past few days, yet the heart rate chart shows spike in heart rate when I swum. I have it set to auto detect & swum 16 to 20 mins each time. Watch has been on in exact same position as previous times it logged, not changed settings. Why has it stopped recognising my swims?

Thanks for explaining your situation in regards to the auto recognition of your swim in the exercise app of your Charge 5.

I recommend you to restart the Charge 5 before working out once again. You can also input the exercise and track it manually, so you'll make sure it is tracking.

Hi Chris,

There is either something wrong with the watch or the software. Didn’t track my swim or any other exercise today. Restarted device & app & nothing registered.
