Hi!
My Fitbit Charge 5 is rapidly decharging. Even without movement it deteriorates from 100% to 60% in 20 minutes! That does not work.
Tried every trick there is:
1. Restarted the watch
2. checked Software update (was already up to date)
3. re-booted via the charging cable
Is there another useful tool as a counter action?
This is highly frustrating as the watch is not even a year old!

Hi, @Nil_battery, I think your best way forward will be to talk to "Customer Support" and use the Chat facility or Phone for a prompt response.
Cheers

I did already and it was a Desaster! First via chat and then on the phone.
Apparently this happened:
I was able to see that your device
activated the Built-in GPS some days
ago and it's possible that this sensor
keeps draining battery life, currently this
an actual error that we are currently
working to solve, we already released an
update to improve this batttery life and
it's available for the 2% of Fitbit Charge
5, this will be progressively released.
And now I am supposed to wait until I get the update. Could be by the end of the week or even month! Incredible. Not happy with that support.

I had exactly the same issue, luckily I bought it from Amazon so I sent it for repair through the Amazon repair service and Fitbit sent me a replacement. If it’s less than a year old use your warranty and get them to replace it because I don’t believe all charge5 battery issues are software related

If not prompted by end of the week and it still does not work, I will need to get the watch exchanged.
