My charge 5 is less than a year old.
Charged battery (100%) is discharged within an hour.
No fixes are working.
Tried the reset and tips to manage battery life (when it stays alive long enough).
What can I do?

I have the same issue; had a Charge 4 before, and strangely enough ... before the Charge 5 launched, the same problem occurred. It's almost as if we are being forced to purchase a new tracker each time one is launched.

Hello @Lucybimble
When my Charge 5 started to rapidly lose battery power, I restarted & charged my device multiple times over several days. This process eventually got my Charge 5 "unstuck" and the battery went back to lasting 6-7 days. There's no guarantee that this will work, but it might be worth a try.
If this doesn't work, please continue to try to contact Fitbit support, especially since your device is less than a year old.

I've tried all this over the last two days, @RiekoC
It looks to me as though the mods just copy paste the same response to this issue; they are not looking at each case individually.
I've had two Charge trackers so far but am very unhappy with the duration of the product.
The Charge 5 had another fault where the strap kept coming off.
The support team have not contacted me with a solution, it's been two days.
I'll throw this in the bin, and buy a Garmin.

I just bought a Garmin less than a month ago, thinking maybe I'd avoid these Fitbit problems, but for me, the Garmin was worse (lights that show up at night...sometimes flashing, inaccurate readings or missing readings). Now, apparently after an update three days ago, I have zero battery on my Fitbit Charge 5 and it no longer will charge as of an hour ago. Restarted numerous times, install, uninstall, different USBs...nothing is working.

Same problem (since less than 2 days ago). Tried it all too, but it won't even hold a charge while charging this morning. There's an upgrade that was just done 3 days ago and I'm guessing that's what the problem is.
