My battery life was a day and half at best. I have disabled heart monitoring which has improved it immensely. Does anything think Fitbit will find a fix for this, rather than loose a function?

I appreciate all the information you've shared about this inconvenience you're experiencing with the Charge 5.
The battery of the Charge 5 can last up to 7 days; because battery life is affected by use and other settings, actual results may vary, but the battery shouldn't be draining only after one or two days.
