Black screen on Charge 5

I got an error on screen stating the clock screen was  unable to load. 

I switched screen design via the Iphone app a couple of times, hard reseted my divised through the USB cable and tried to download new firmware.

 

Nothing seem so work to get the screen back to work again. When I restart the device the Fitbit logo pops up shortly and then the screen turns black again.

 

any suggestions?

Thank you for sharing that you've been experiencing this inconvenience with your Charge 5 and that you already tried a few troubleshooting steps.  

 

In this case, since you already tried the restart procedure with the charging cable and you continue to experience the same problem with the display not responding, I recommend that you get in touch with the Customer Support team for further assistance with this. They will let you know how to proceed.

Contacted support and they arranged to send a replacement watch.
