Had a black screen for about a week now tried changing clock face and restarting still no better. Since the update. It still tracks steps calories etc. Plus the battery is draining super fast literally having to charge everyday

I'm curious how old everyone's fitbit is that's having the same issue? I got mine at the end of April so it's roughly 4 months old.
My screen in entirely unresponsive now but is at the very least tracking steps (I was able to watch the pedometer update in real time on my app via my phone). I also notice that it picks and chooses when and what to sync to as far as my 3rd party apps go even if I force sync it. I'm curious if anyone else is having the same?

Same issue, tried all the troubleshooting stuff I could find. Mine's only been this way since last night though and it's not tracking anything.

Possible solution!
Okay, my just came back, this could be because of something fitbit did, or because what I tried worked. It's a long process, but a simple one.
First, let the fitbit completely die. I mean ZERO.
Second, charge it for like five minutes and then try to synch it. If it synchs you're in a good place. You may get flashes of the fitbit logo or charging status, but it will be hard to get anything else to come up or stay up.
Third, change the clockface, it doesn't have to be successful, mine wasn't and it triggered the device to go back to the default time face.
Fourth, restart it and let it charge to >50%.
It should work now...hopefully.

Mine is only 2 months old. I was told I just have to wait until they create a firmware update to solve the issue. Not cool.

Mine is 7 months old, at the most. I spoke with customer service and they are replacing one under the warranty.
