I've been logging my food intake for nearly 3 months. Lately, I've noticed that the Food logging section on the Android app displays the "Start logging your food." message even after entering in data for the current day.
Also, while the caloric intake sums for each day are correct in the Food section, going in for a deeper dive for any particular day in the past displays incorrect Cal In counts. For example, on May 27th, the Food section screen shows 1,236 calories in but going to the day screen for May 27th, it shows 0 Cal in. Same for following days. The subtotals for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are correct.
I've tried deleting all the data and re-entering the data but that doesn't seem to help. I've also deleted the app and reinstalled it on my phone to no avail. Is the data on the servers corrupted? If so, what is the solution?

Hi, welcome to the Fitbit Community forums, @Remcoo.
Thank you for sharing that you've been experiencing this inconvenience with your calorie information.
I understand how frustrating this can be and please know that all your comments are greatly appreciated. I was able to confirm that other users are having trouble with their food logs and the information about calories not updating or syncing; this has been escalated to our team so they can look into it. The next Fitbit app version will bring a fix for this issue, so please wait until an update is available for your Fitbit app.
Thanks again for all the information provided about this.

Thank you for the information. I also use it to track sodium so it is an important feature for me. As is, the Fitbit app hugely overcounts sodium intake.Eagarly awaiting the update.
I know this is probably not possible but is there anyway to import data from another calorie counter app? I'm still logging food intake on the Fitbit app and also on the MyPlate app to get an accurate calorie and sodium count. If it was possible to import the data from this or another app then I wouldn't have to enter the food intake twice.

@aelo No problem, thank you for your response and for sharing your feedback!
There are some apps that are integrated with Fitbit and allow you to import food logs. I've been many users that regularly mention MyFitnessPal and Lose It! apps, for example. You can find more information on how to connect your Fitbit account with another app in this article.
Please know that the team continues to work to have the issue with the food logs on the Fitbit app resolved soon.
See you around
