Can Charge 5 heart rate connect to Adidas running app?

I am using the adidas running app (before runtastic) and I had a hartrate monitor band around my chest from Polar, that was connected so my heartbeat could be registrated online in that app. (https://www.runtastic.com/ )

Now that I am using charge 5, there is no need anymore to wear that polar hartmonitor on my chest.

But It seems I cannot connect my charge 5 to my app. Is this a known issue ?

No Fitbit unfortunately can broadcast HR to a third part application.

Just following your link and then clicking onto the list of partners, Fitbit doesn't seem to be listed at all, so probably doesn't support it:

From reading that, it sounds like maybe Runtastic are the ones to contact to ask them to allow integration.

Thanks for the reply. I hoped that fitbit could expose its heartbeat
metrics online via bluetooth. But it is not the case.

As they mentioned, currently it's not possible to integrate Fitbit with Adidas Running app. However, I'd encourage you to share this idea in the Feature Suggestions board. This is the best place to bring new ideas to our developers attention. I'm sure other members will support it by adding their votes, and you can always see our FAQs to learn more about this board.
