Usually the floors are not shared between third party apps and Fitbit when an integration is available. In the case of the app you mentioned earlier, the information that is shared between MyFitnessPal and Fitbit is:
If you use another app to track your data, you can connect it with your Fitbit account following these steps to check if the floors are being transferred, but as mentioned earlier, this metric usually not shared between apps.
