Is there a way to disable or delete the wallet app on charge 5? It keeps popping up to add a card. I’m not going to do that, so would like to get rid of the app.

Hi @Lanche it is not possible, unfortunately, to remove the wallet app. However you can change the button shortcut so it shouldn’t keep popping up with a reminder. On the Charge 5 go to the settings menu and scroll to Shrotcuts. Make sure that none of them is set to “Fitbit Pay” and then you should no longer see the wallet option pop up on your wrist.

To better assist you, would you mind sharing with me the exact message you're getting on your Charge 5? Is it stuck on "Set up Wallet"? If so, please note this screen will appear when opening the wallet app on your Fitbit device by either tapping on it or with left button to access to the shortcuts. While it's not possible to delete the wallet app as @Julia_G has mentioned, please give a try to the following steps to reconnect your watch to your account:

@Lanche I think that there is some misunderstanding. You absolutely don’t need to remove your Fitbit from your account. Just remove the wallet from the shortcut menu on the Charge 5 and the message on your wrist will no longer pop up.

Where is the shortcut menu? The only shortcut menu I have is for exercise shortcuts.
also, for clarification, the notification that keeps popping up says “add card. Go to mobile app and a card to wallet.”
this will pop up numerous times and then the screen will go black for a day or more.

I’ve been having this same problem only when the Add Card notification comes up I can’t get it off the screen. It won’t let me swipe or anything. I restarted it and changed the clock face and the notification hasn’t come up yet but I can’t swipe on the screen. I can tap it really hard for the screen to come on but swiping in any direction does nothing. I’m so bummed because I love my Charge 5. 😞

Hi, @AngelinaMaria the reminder will stop coming up on your watch if you change the shortcuts, as I described above. The default setting is to have a shortcut to the wallet app set up on your device. Once you have changed the shortcuts you will no longer get this issue.
Swipe to find the settings menu and then go to shortcuts to make this change.
