A better approach for me would be just setting a limit and getting rid of the pin all together.
Usually I just have one transaction per day, so I have to key in the pin every single time, which makes this feature useless.
I really don't care if I could lost $10 in the worst scenario.

You can disable the PIN code option by following these steps:
Keep in mind that you can choose to use the device lock feature only for Fitbit Pay, but if you are using this feature precisely for Fitbit Pay, then you won't be able to disable it completely. You can find more information about this here.
