I recently updated from a Charge 2 to a Charge 5. I've never liked the sleep stages and have turned off the heart rate at night and it would revert to the older, standard sleep monitoring. PITA, but I don't want to twitch my nose or roll over and have FitBit tell me I was awake for 10 minutes. I digress, it's just a personal preference. Is there a way on the phone app to turn off the heart rate? I think I found where i could do it on the Charge 5 device (swipe down/settings/heart rate) but not the app? Is that available with the Charge 5? It used to be under settings? Thx

Hi there, @FCD. Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums and sharing the details about the inconvenience with your Charge 5.
Please note the option to turn off/on the heart rate on the Fitbit app is available for old Fitbit devices and Charge 5 is not included. Since you've now replaced your Charge 2 with a Charge 5, this option won't be available for this device as you can make changes with your heart rate directly on your Fitbit device. For more information, see How do I track heart rate with my Fitbit device?
Regarding your sleep data, I'd suggest taking a look at this help article How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device?

@MarreFitbit thanks for your response. At the time sleep stages were rolled out, I did the research and tried it but it didn't work for me. I'll continue to switch off the heart rate on the fitbit device. I've gotten used to the daily ritual, just a different process now.
