Can I use the same Fitbit on my ipad as well as android phone? How do I set up the same account

I have my Fitbit charge 5 on my ipad. I bought a new android phone and want to link the charge 5 with my android phone. When I tried to set up the charge 5, it says that the account already exists. How do I go about this??

Hello @Nihonjin59 

Have you tried just downloading the App on your phone and signing in?  You shouldn’t need to set up a new account as your Charge 5 is linked to your email address for the account part.  

You should be able to use the same  account on your phone/iPad/computer without too much trouble.

I think you’d just need to pair your Charge 5 to your phone by switching on Bluetooth and linking the two.
