During initiation it prompted me to say I had a history of irregular heart beats - I said yes…

Thank you for sharing your inquiry about the Charge 5 and the ECG feature. 

Could you please confirm if the ECG feature is available in your region?  This feature is not available in all countries for the moment. I recommend that you review this list  to check if your country has been added. 

If this is not the case for you and your country is indeed listed, please provide a few more details about the issue you're experiencing and if you're still receiving any error message.
