Can’t get my brand new Charge 5 to work

Struggled to get the watch set up and then woke up to this today and my blue tooth can’t detect it, and I’m not sure if it’s charging or not. Please help!

I appreciate the information provided about this issue with your Charge 5 and for the picture. 

 

Could you please confirm if you're still getting the same error on the screen? In the meantime, please make sure that you've completed the three pulse restart using the charging cable: 

 

  1. Connect your device to the charging cable. For instructions, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  2. Press the button located on the flat end of the charger 3 times within 8 seconds, holding each press for about 1 second.
  3. Wait 10 seconds or until the Fitbit logo appears.
  4. Note: If the device doesn’t restart, wait 15 seconds to try again.
