I just purchased my Charge 5 and installed the Fitbit app (v 3.74 on iOS 16.2). I went to the gallery section, clicked on "Apps" and I only see my pre-installed apps. There is no way to install any new updates, nor are any of the options even showing. Unsure what to do.

If you were looking for 3rd party apps, like Spotify or Pandora for music, the newer Fitbit devices don't support those. Some of the older Fitbit devices are losing their 3rd party apps as well. As far as I've seen, only the Pixel watch supports Fitbit and 3rd party apps.
If that's important for you to have, you'll have to consider a different brand of health tracker.

Are there any apps I can download, because just like sbestor my Fitbit app only shows currently installed apps. I know others exist because when I go to the app other apps are recommended from the same developer and I can install them with no problem.

@ARelles The apps available to download for the Charge 5 are only the ones that sbestor shows in their initial post. Currently, there aren't any non-Fitbit apps that can be downloaded to the Charge 5.

Fitbit tracker style devices have never had access to the full App gallery. Up until the Sense 2/Versa 4 it was only smart watches that could access the app gallery (for 3rd party apps), although as we know that ended with the respective devices.
