Can't log in on the Fitbit app with my Charge 5

I just bought a Charge 5 and the app won't let me log in. Ive tried uninstalling it, force stopping it, using WiFi or data, turning off Bluetooth and turning it back on. Nothing works. I keep getting the 'something went wrong' message. It's super frustrating, and I feel like nothing with any Fitbit devices is working.

I can confirm that the Fitbit app is not working properly at the moment. Fitbit is working on a solution. Here you can find more information: https://www.fitbitstatus.com/ . Please try again in a couple of hours. I really appreciate your patience regarding this matter. Thanks again!

My fitbit charge 5 will not sync to my phone.  I've gone thru all the steps of deleting the app, shutting off the phone, starting the phone, reinstalling the app.  But I'm still getting the same error message.  "There was an error while trying to bluetooth pair your device".

I'm having the same problem.  My first Fitbit and will never buy another.  Will go back to Garmin or Apple.
