I had a software update and Fitbit5 would not restart. I finally got got it started but app would not pair with wrist watch.

Hi there, @GWS76. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear about the issues you're having with your Charge 5.
If you haven't done so yet, I'd recommend trying the steps below in the order listed:
With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Charge 5 first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.
