Can't read WhatsApp notifications on my Charge 5

I get the notification on my charge 5 that I have a whatsapp message. Great so far.

It then says click on it to read, I click on it and it just says "message" I see no characters or actual text of the message. it just give me the option to clear it.

Am I supposed to be able to read the actual message? It seems pointless to just get the notification. Very frustrating.

I can read the actual message if I just get a normal text to my phone, but not the whatsapp.

I have reinstalled the app and restarted my phone, all my notification settings are on.

Hello yes, they could not help me either.I think it is misleading to refer tho this as a notification issue. I get the notification I just can't see or read any of the text in the message.

No one seems to be able to tell me - should I be able to read the actual whatsapp message? Can you tell me? That is the question I have.

I have a case number that I will get back in touch with them on tomorrow.
