Can't set up two Charge 5 to my Fitbit account

Hi from Italy! I have a fitbit Luxe and I'd like to add in my profile a new fitbit Charge 5 but when I tap on Charge 5 configuration pops out this message: "A Luxe is already connected at your account" and there is a Charge 5 image and it asks me for a substitution. Thank you for your help

Hello & welcome @MarymaryA

With the newer devices, the Fitbit app allows only 1 device to be connected at a time. To setup your new Charge 5, you will have to disconnect your Luxe from the app.

Hi there, @MarymaryA. It's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I'm sorry to hear that you cannot connect your second Charge 5 to your account. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

As @RiekoC has mentioned, you can't connect multiple devices that use the Fitbit Gallery to one account. For Fitbit Charge series, Fitbit Inspire series, Fitbit Luxe, Fitbit Sense series, Fitbit Versa series, and Google Pixel Watch series, only connect one of these devices to your account at a time. Hi @MarreFitbit and @RiekoC and thanks for your answers! In my fitbit account I have a Fitbit Flex and a Fitbit Luxe and they are both present in my devices’ list. So, I don’t have two Charge 5 but this 3 devices: Flex+ Luxe +Charge 5.

I’d like to see both this 3 (Flex + Luxe+Charge 5) in my devices’ list

Is it impossible? Luxe and Charge 5 are two different models: only Charge 5 has tap and pay app.

Thank you for your time and answers.

Only 1 device can be on your account if it uses the Fitbit gallery.  This includes the newer Fitbit devices, whether they are the same model or not.

Swapping devices is quick, and the data from 1 device will sync to the new device after it's added to your account, just make sure you sync the old device before changing devices.
