i switch from an Iphone 8 to an Iphone 12, 2 weeks ago. I deleted my charge 5 from the iphone 8. I tried connecting my Charge 5 to my Iphone 12 and when I get to enter the code, the phone keeps sending me the message that the code is wrong and wont connect 😞
How can I fix that?

Hi there, @loud43. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that you cannot connect your Charge 5 to your new phone. Thanks for taking the time to troubleshoot the issue prior to posting here. I understand how you must be feeling.
Since your Charge 5 is no longer paired to your old Fitbit device, in this case the only thing that would work is to perform a factory reset on your Charge 5 so you can be able to set it up to your new phone. With that being said, please try the steps below:
Take into consideration that a factory reset deletes any stored data, which includes all data that hasn't synced to your Fitbit account, your applications, alarms, etc.
Once the above has been done, please proceed to set up your Charge 5 with your new iPhone.

ok so I tried the reset factory but still get the same message from my phone... and now i have no watch at all to track anything whatsoever!!
I tried turning off and on my bluetooth on my phone, i press the button on the charge 5 power cord to reset it and still not working 😞
i have this watch for just over a year now... i can't believe i will have to pay for a new one as it use to work properly on an iphone 8....
