Can't use my discount to purchase a Charge 5

Hi, since I can't reply to my previous post about lines on my charge 3 I'm starting new post.  You've offered me a discount off a new item but I can't use against charge 5 - why? I don't want a generation old fitbit, want the latest version. Thankyou

Everytime I post, I can't reply to people? Also not only is my watch got lines missing in the screen its now not switching on when I tap it  - having to press the power button for it to come on.  Looking forward to why I can't use discount on charge 5? Thankyou

Hi @Melmjc1  you were given an answer by a Fitbit Moderator - look at the above posts. You couldn't reply as the topic was locked. These posts will also be placed within that thread, as it's the same thing. Sorry you can't use your discount, but it was explained to you.

@Melmjc1   I understand you haven't gotten an answer from Support that satisfies you, but your question here has been addressed by a Fitbit moderator, and continuing to ask the same question here is not going to get you a different answer.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

@Melmjc1  the Fitbit moderator stated that since you already asked customer support, that you should get back with them. From being on the forums and reading things, it seems Fitbit doesn't allow us to use the discount on the newest devices. People with a discount on their Inspire 2 couldn't use it for the Luxe. People with the Charge 4 couldn't use it to get the new Charge 5. It seems to be their policy.
