Cannot have 2 devices on my account

Have had Fitbits for many years now.  due to high activity lifestyle, i tend to wear them out.

So, I have been using an Inspire HR for about 2 years and it is starting to have problems with charging.  Thus, I purchased an Inspire 2 and found that I could not have both devices on one account.

Returned the new Inspire and ordered a Charge 5.  Apparently this device cannot be on the same account as the Inspire HR either.  Up until now, I have always had 2 devices on one account (different devices) using the old one as a backup.

Thus, because I cannot have the Inspire HR as a backup, this is the last Fitbit device I will ever purchase.  There are other providers out there.

Not a happy camper!

From Can I use more than one Fitbit device with the same account?

If one of your devices was older than the ones listed above, it could have co-existed with current trackers, but not 2 current devices.

If you do switch to another brand, I hope you find something that fits your needs.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Thank you for sharing your inquiry and for all the feedback provided about the Charge 5, @veryoldcat

As it was mentioned to you earlier, you can't connect multiple devices that use the Fitbit Gallery to one account. For Fitbit Charge 3, Fitbit Charge 4, Fitbit Charge 5, Fitbit Ionic, Fitbit Inspire series, Fitbit Luxe, Fitbit Sense, and Fitbit Versa series, you can only connect one of these devices to your account at a time.

We haven't received other updates about this for the moment, but this idea is Under Consideration status, as you can check here. Make sure to add your vote, as this is always helpful for the team of developers to continue to track popularity and demand over time.

Have a good day.
