I'm spending a few months away fromt the US. Fibit Charge 5 wasn't getting the time zone right so I changed it to Romanian. I'm currently in Nicosia, Cyprus, but that option didn't exist so I chose a country in the same zone. As a result, the Fitbit changed the language of my notification and the weekly report to Romanian. Just because I'm in a country doesn't mean I speak the language! How can I keep the time zone I've set but have everything be in English?

Hi there, @MarinaP. It's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 5 is not keeping the English language.I understand how annoying this can be, I will do my best to help you with this!
As a first approach, please note that your Fitbit device uses the same language that you use for your Fitbit account and changing the language on your phone changes the language in the Fitbit app. For more information, see How do I change my language on Fitbit?
In addition, I'd recommend trying the steps below:

Thanks for your reply. The steps you outlined is what I did and caused the problem. The country where I am now - Cyprus - is not on the list. So I chose a country that was in the same time zone as Cyprus, and the whole Fitibt switched to Romanian language. So the language seems to follow the time zone which makes no sense. One could be in a country and not speak the language!
I've plaued some more with it and managed to get the English back. Finally, I found Athens, Greece, on the list, chose that and for some reason, the Fibit turned back to English, thankfully. (Probably because there's no Greek version.)
So the issue is: how does one change the time zone on the Fibit without changing the language?
