I’ve only had my Charge 4 a few months. Do i get a good trade-in value towards a new Charge 5?

Hi @Mounder Fitbit doesn't do trade-ins on their devices.

@Mounder I'm not sure where your 4 was purchased. But if purchased through the fitbit store, you have a 45 day trial period.
Otherwise, check the return policy of the place the 4 was purchased.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community forums, @Mounder.
Thank you for your inquiry about the possibility of exchanging your Charge 4 for the recently released Charge 5.
As it was mentioned earlier, unfortunately Fitbit doesn't have a trade-in program at the moment, but if you haven't done so already, I do recommend that you vote for this idea that is already with "Under Consideration" status on the Feature Suggestion board of the Community: Trade in/Upgrade Program, this is always helpful for the team of developers to keep track of popularity and demand over time.
Have a great day.

From the Philippines
We agree with this brilliant Fitbit trade in suggestion. Its a WIN-WIN for all!
For existing FITBIT Users:
- this will make a lot of happy Fitbit users
- ensure continuous Fitbit brand loyalty for years
Fot FITBIT Company
- this will driive more sales given the low market conditions post covid
- a chance to correct and replace the poor lighing visibility of Charge4 models
For the Environment
- ensure proper disposal of old units
- a chance to recover old recyclable materials
We are looming forward to this idea come into reality ASAP.
Merry Xmas Santa "Fitbit" Claus!
Ty in advance.

Keep the Charge 4 ! No Spotify on 5, the ECG is a toy feature and is just a load of disclaimers saying don't rely on it, I have a 5 now and regret it. In the UK bigger picture would be getting any of out high street banks to actually work with the useless pay app that fitbit have set up for banks no one uses in the UK..
