I had the charge 4 and was relatively happy with performance, it wasnt perfect but wasnt expected, so, i get the charge 5 expecting it to be better than the 4, i was wrong, we were all swindled by this company.

Sounds like you don't want an answer to your question since you gave your thoughts.
The Charge 5 is smaller.
Has better hardware, faster clock

Actually if by better hardware meaning more options of badly functioning features then, i would say i tried them, i turned them all off, to get more (still less than the 4) battery life.. are you actually satisfied with the removal of the button? Also it tracks the heart rate inaccurately until the point you choose a workout.. i guess were lucky it tracks the time right, without having to choose a “right time” mode

Having more advanced sensors, yes.
As for the button, like many users that requested (for 3 years) this type of button I do like, since its less likely to be accidentally pushed.
Turn of SpO2 and snore detect to extend the battery.

While I don't feel like I've been swindled, I too liked my Charge 4 better than my Charge 5. I threw out my 4 after I bought the 5 because I am trying not to be a person who holds on to things, and months after ordering a band for my old 4, fitbit informed me they could not fulfill the order. However, I am considering purchasing a new Charge 4 to replace my Charge 5. The thing that bothers me the most has to do with the way I use my fitbit the most - as a Countdown. With the Charge 4, I typically set my countdown, then I do a 10 minute stretch routine, then I start the countdown. With the Charge 5, however, the device reverts back to the clock face within that 10 minutes, and I have to set the countdown again. I don't like that time-out function. I contacted customer support and I was told the device is just sensitive. So, I conducted a test several times not actually making any movements, just standing there. Sensitivity was not the reason - it just times out. So, it comes down to just sequence of function for me. I also liked the certainty of the connection of the old charger. Thanks for listening.
