Charge 5 Battery Draining quickly out of nowhere

Battery lasted several days until the end of this week. Yesterday the battery started draining in a few hours.

I've reset the device by clearing user data. I've reinstalled the android app. Even tried not connecting to the app  at all, and it still drains w/in a few hours.  Version # 57.200001.188.58

Hello @jrhawk42

When my Charge 5 started having rapid battery loss, I restarted and recharged my device multiple times over several days. As soon as I saw a rapid drop in battery, I restarted my Charge 5 and put it on the charger until it was back to 100%, often doing this multiple times in a day. Eventually, this process got my device "unstuck" and the battery went back to lasting 6-7 days. Although there's no guarantee that this will work for you, it might be worth a try.

The same thing has been happening to my Charge 5 since Saturday. The repeated restarts dont seem to be making a difference, and none of my activity is being captured by the device. I don't know what is going on!

Hello @Mo311

Since your Charge 5 isn't tracking any of your activities, it might be best to contact Support (<-- click link). Complete the prompts until you get the option to chat or call.

Depending on how long you've had your Charge 5, you might have some options under warranty.

Hello @Mo311

Although it shouldn't have to be this way, you will need to be your own advocate. Continue to follow up with Support until you get resolution.

Make sure to keep track of your original case #. I've read other users report that they keep getting a new case # when they contact Support. The multiple case #'s only cause confusion.
