Google Pixel 7 Pro
Firmware Version: 57.20001.188.58
Reviewing these forums there is clearly a widespread issue with this firmware version making the Charge 5 virtually unusable.
The solution to this is not buying a new device at a discount.
The solution is obviously to either patch or revert to the previous version that worked.
I've been using fitbit since 2017 and have subscribed to premium. I also have an aria.
I have been very satisfied prior to this week and until I read the hundreds of posts all over the internet about this issue.
Even suggesting that the solution to a well documented wide spread firmware issue is the customer buying a new product is ridiculously unacceptable.
I will not do business with an organization that refuses to take responsibility for and resolve issues it is solely responsible for creating.
I don't want a replacement: I don't want a new device at a discount: I want you to accept that this firmware created a significant issue, commit to fixing it and get my current device back to its previous state.
Allowing reversion to the previous version would also work since I had no issues with it.
I absolutely will not buy a Charge 6 or any other fitbit product if you don't take ownership of the issue and commit to a resolution that does not involve: "we bricked your device, sorry not sorry, give us more money".
