I have owned a Charge 5 for 2 years. 2 other models before that. Always worked fine. Love them.
But screen went blank, black. Tried the reboot many times no response except for short vibration.
It is still recording activities and can download via Apple fitbit app.
But a watch is supposed to tell the time.
Tried to do the clock face change but there is no gallery to be found when you hit the sync button just this
If you cannot get to Gallery you cannot change it

Hi @unplugged welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here! Allow me to help you with the display of your Charge 5 that is not turning on.
Thank you for the screenshot. According to the screenshot you provided, it seems your Charge 5 is no longer set up to your account. That's why you won't see the gallery. I would suggest that you attempt to set up your device following the instructions below:
- Referring to the screenshot you provided, tap on "Add device"
- Choose your Charge 5 and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.
The process will give you a 4-digit number you need to enter on the app. This number should appear on your Charge 5 display. If you are unable to complete the process due to the display issue, i recommend that you contact customer support
I hope you can find a solution for your issue !

Hi David
I tried that seems logical. The problem is as the screen is blank you cannot see any numbers. Not much help.
Thanks for trying
