Hi I updated my Charge 5 to firmware version 57.20001.188.58.
2 problems started immediately
1) Device discharges in one day instead of the earlier 1 week. I checked all possible settings which conserve battery (gps mode, awake time) but it keeps happening.
2) Add card notification ~30 times a day. Very annoying.
Very bad customer experience with these issues. This community shows such issues from many years ago. Still unresolved. Does fitbit/google even care? My wife is an Apple watch user and she hasn't seen a single bug since many years. Whereas my Versa and Charge both have had minor and majora bugs along the way. Fitbit needs a better testing team. Sad state of affairs.

Exact same issue here. After automatic firmware update my device drained to 4% OVERNIGHT and is no longer responsive OR taking a charge. Completely dead. This is even the second charge 5 I have, as a year ago I had the same issue and they had to send me a new device. Fast foward a year later, same problem. I'm sick of fitbit.

Mines on 57.20001.194.91 and I don't have any of those issues.
Why don't you update to the latest version?

having the same battery drain problem. But I disabled the payment feature since the beginning, so I don’t have the notification issue.

Is that the current version?
You've had no issues with it?
