Charge 5 - Charges, synchs but screen is black

I have the blank screen that seems to be common. The three button presses on the charging cable doesn't fix it. It is synching to the app real-time, it charged to 100% and seems to be working fine other than the display. If I use the app to change the clock type, I see the logo on the device while it loads and then it goes blank again. That tell me the display isn't broken. Any other suggestions? I can't preform the restart since I can't get to settings on the device and don't see a reset option in the app.

Sorry to see you're have a problem with your Charge 5.

Since you've already tried the suggested troubleshooting steps and they were not successful, I suggest contacting Fitbit support. They will likely walk you through the same troubleshooting steps that you've tried. Once they confirm that none of the troubleshooting steps return your device to normal operation and if it's still under warranty, they should send you an offer to replace the tracker/pebble or a discount on a different device. If your Charge 5 is out of warranty, they should offer a discount on a replacement. Note: the discount is on the full price even if the device is on sale in the Fitbit store.
