Charge 5 Clock Faces are awful

The available clock faces for the Charge 5 are really awful. They are all difficult to read especially when exercising but even when you are not exercising. This unreadability defeats the point of this feature. 

There are no simple, clean designs that just give you basic information in a readable format. Is that really too much to ask for? Not asking for the existing ones to be removed, just asking for simple designs that are available in other Fitbits (the previous Charge models) to also be available for the Charge 5. Please.

I agree, hot garbage baking in the sun.  The best one that most closely matches my charge 3 face "slashed" does not quite match up.   This one seems to have the info I was looking for in a glance without endless touching on the screen to wake it, cycle through the stuff I don't need to get the stuff I do. Who makes a clock with 20% of it cut off?

I agree.  Slashed is the only one that shows the stats without having to scroll, and even then it shows miles instead of steps, which I think is not as useful.  I feel like the designers must not have actually tried the product themselves.

Apparently I cannot reply to other posts about the terrible Clock Faces for the Charge 5. But I can reply here. Whey create a topic when hundreds of people clearly agree.

I agree completely! I got a Charge 5 for Christmas and the available Clock Faces are terrible. Hard to read and apparently from 2021 to present...they have not changed much. I want to see Heart Rate and Steps Always On Top and don't want to "tap" it to see the steps. After all...isn't that what the tracker was all about...monitoring your steps and your heart rate? Looks like it's trying to be more by showing more first, which is just fine, but not what I want. The closest current Clock Face that does what I want is "Slashed". It keeps the heart rate and steps always on top but the Time is hard to read because the bottom is cut off. It's soooo close to being perfect. 🙂

Are there more clock faces we can download or install from Fitbit??? When will they become available??? Is this currently in the list of things to do? Is there anywhere else we can go to install more standardize boring faces that give just the facts without the fanfare.

No you can't download any other watch face apart from the ones showing in the app, there is no support for external app watch faces in charge 5.

I hate to say this but I don't think they will give us anymore watch faces.

I contacted them so many times in last 1 year and they always told to upvote in feature section and it's already got so much upvotes and they are not even bothering to care.

Last time I contacted them on their instagram and they told good news we are adding fitbit-studio(with this you can make your own watch faces) in next update and all we got in next update was security patches and after this when I mentioned this to them they told we never told fitbit-studio is coming.

So based on all these I have officially given up on charge 5 clock faces and you should aswell.

I love my charge 5 but I don’t like the clock faces , personally I want to see a stats heavy clock face like on my 4 , the one I’m using on 5 just now is target , I like to see the time and date clearly for my job , but I would like to see my steps , distance and active minutes on one page clearly not just one at a time , I don’t like the slashed , the cut off clock is just stupid

Agreed...the slashed face is stupid...but it's close to what I want. I want
to see the time and the steps without swiping or pressing it. After
all...that's what it started out as. I don't think they will be updating
them soon though.

That is a consideration. My main thing was size...but hmm...something to
