Hi, welcome to the Fitbit Community forums, @BellaScamp

I appreciate the information that you've shared about this inconvenience with your Charge 5.

Could you please confirm if you're still having the same problem with the device not resetting an midnight? In the meantime, please make sure that you've completed a three pulse restart and let me know if you continue to experience the same behavior afterwards:

  1. Connect your device to the charging cable. For instructions, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  2. Press the button located on the flat end of the charger 3 times, pausing for 1 second between presses. Then wait 10 seconds or until the Fitbit logo appears.

In addition, you can also try setting up your Charge 5 as a new device in your account.

Hope this helps, I'll be around.

How do I do a 3 pulse restart? My Fitbit is still displaying yesterday's steps. It is almost fully charged.

Hi, thank you for sharing your inquiry, @PowersBennett

You can find the steps to complete the three pulse restart here as well. The button is located at the end of the USB cable, as shown here below:

Please let me know if you're able to see it and complete the restart.
