I appreciate your message, and I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 5 is not charging or turning on. 

This is definitely not the experience we want for our customers, and I understand your feelings about this situation. 

Could you please confirm if you can see the lights on the back of the pebble?

I’m having same issue had 88% power. Then I noticed after washing up the screen is black. It doesn’t do anything, unresponsive at first to charging, after a while and multiple attempts at reset with usb I got a buzz. However screen still black. Is there a software issue? I’m going it fixed over night.

@rv23 I was having a similar problem with my Fitbit this weekend.  I  cleaned the contacts with a damp Q-tip. When that didn't work I reset my Fitbit.  There is a small button on the USB portion of the charging cable.  Press the button three times with about a second in between presses.  Your fitbit should reset in about 10 seconds.  That worked for me today.
