Charge 5 ECG New Zealand

Has anyone had success with the ecg on a Charge 5 in New Zealand? The Fitbit device tells me to get started go to the Fitbit mobile app. That opens the health assessment, which says to get started on device... which again tells me to open Fitbit mobile app And around in circles we go!!

Hi, thank you for sharing that you're experiencing this inconvenience with your Charge 5 device, @Lushay.  

I was able to verify that feature should be available in New Zealand, as you can check on this list. Before considering other options, please make sure the Fitbit app is updated to the latest version available. It should allow you to complete the set up process starting with the Fitbit app, as described here

In the meantime, please give a try to the following steps:

  1. Uninstall the ECG app from your Charge 5.
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app and restart your tracker.
  3. Open the Fitbit app and pull down on the screen to force a manual sync.
  4. Install the ECG app one more time and make sure the permissions are enabled.
  5. If you're still having trouble to set up this feature, try setting up your Charge 5 as a new device in your account.

I had already done this last night. Found the issue though; my iPhone software… updated it and it now works yay thanks
