Hi, welcome to the FItbit Community forums, @Bhamoggy.
Thank you for sharing that you've been experiencing this inconvenience with your Charge 5.
Before considering other options, could you please provide a few extra details? Let me know if you already set up this feature and you're getting this message when you try to complete an ECG reading placing your fingers on the sides or if you're trying to set up the feature for the first time.
In addition, keep in mind that the ECG feature is not available in all countries for the moment since this feature often requires the approval of certain agencies and institutions of each country before they can be activated for use. I recommend that you review this list to check if your country has been added.
I'll be around.

David I too am experiencing this same issue on my new charge 5 trying to access ECG for the first time.
When I press the ECG application on my Charge, it tells me to setup on my phone, but I don’t see any thing to configure on the iPhone app.
please advise… thanks.

@GPstewart314 my guess is that the final firmware may not be loaded, or make sure that the fitbit app is open on the phone, the first time using ECG.

Welcome to the Community forums, @GPstewart314.
Thank you for confirming that you're experiencing the same inconvenience with your Charge 5.
Please make sure to review this list to check if your country has been added to the list where the ECG feature is available for the moment. In addition, if you already updated the firmware version, please try to set up your Charge 5 as a new device in your account, as this has been helpful for other users with a similar problem.
Hope this helps, I'll be around.
