Charge 5 ECG error

The ECG on my fit bit is not working. I’m trying to use it. It comes up and says error. Please re-open the application. I’ve done that multiple times on multiple days and it is not working.

Thanks for sharing these details about the issue you're experiencing with the Charge 5.

 

If you haven't done so already, please try the following steps that have been useful for other users experiencing something similar: 

 

  1. Uninstall the ECG app from your Charge 5.
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app and restart your tracker.
  3. Open the Fitbit app and pull down on the screen to force a manual sync.
  4. Install the ECG app one more time and make sure the permissions are enabled.
  5. Tap Discover > Assessments & Reports > Heart Rhythm Assessment to double check if still appears completed 
  6. Try taking a reading one more time and let me know how it goes.

I have the same problème with my Fitbit Charge 5 , IT Say that he dont find m'y phone, for the ECG . Is it because i have a Huawei?

I've been informed that you already contacted the Customer Support team for further assistance with this and it seems they've shared some instructions with you. In this case, they will let you know how to proceed.

I’m having the same problem , I uninstalled and restarted and it still says Error etc. While the 5 may seem higher quality, I found my 4 to be more sensitive and reliable.  This one just charges faster big deal.

If you haven't done so already, please try the following steps as well and let me know if the issue persists: 

 

  1. Restart your device using the charging cable. 
  2. Set up your Charge 5 as a new device in your account. 
  3. Try taking a reading one more time and let me know how it goes.
