My Charge 5 has repeatedly switched itself off while the battery level is still fine (often between 40 and 50 percent). One minute it's working, the other minute it's gone black. To reanimate it, I have to connect it to a power outlet which leaves me without tracker until I have access to one. When I'm out running, Fitbit has died and does not track anymore which defies the purpose of buying a Google-Fitbit tracker. When I connect the tracker to an outlet, it comes back immediately and shows a 90% fantasy level of battery charge that drops to its actual level, as soon as I synch the tracker with the app. So I wonder if it is it amateurish programming or unprofessional manufacturing by Google-Fitbit. It's either one or the other.
Google-Fitbit's failure to deliver has reached intolerably frustrating levels by now. I read that the Charge 7 will hit the market soon, but I am pretty sure I will not buy another Google-Fitbit tracker again.
But for now: What is Gogle-Fitbit going to do about the above-mentioned failure? And when? I see similar, not identical, posts like mine in this online community, so it's nothing we customers can do about it, only Google-Fitbit. I wonder if they care.

I have been having this exact problem for weeks now. Just this morning, I went to turn off Sleep Mode after waking up, and got the low battery warning. A couple of minutes later, I felt it buzz, and when I tried to check the time, the screen was black and it did not respond to taps or swipes. Plugged it in, saw the Fitbit logo, and the charging screen said 63%! Left it connected to the charge cable, restarted it from the Settings menu, and after rebooting it said 73%.
I have also had the problem of it crashing when I start the ECG app. Not every time, but maybe 50% of the time? If I feel what might be my heart skipping a beat, it's VERY frustrating to try to use ECG, and have the whole watch freeze.
Maybe Google wants us all to switch to a more expensive Pixel watch. But the level of tech support Fitbit watches are getting is not inspiring confidence.

And now, 54 minutes after telling me it was at 73%, I just got a warning that it's at 12%.

Sorry to hear that you are effected as well. By the by, my tracker also crashed lately when I wanted to start ECG.
I LOLed at your statement, " But the level of tech support Fitbit watches are getting is not inspiring confidence." - Which support? There is none. I have a feeling that Google Fitbit does not care about customers after they (= we) spent money on their products. A shame! Fitbit used to be good, but is not anymore.
