Charge 5 Green Light is always on and the battery drains out fast

Green Light on my Fitbit Charge 5 is always on. I went through other community posts and tried following steps provided but no luck.

 

So far I have restarted my device several times and did turn off hart rate monitoring. 

 

The battery drains out very fast. It goes to 0 from 100 in couple of hours.

 

Please help

I am not told when a new firmware update will be available to solve this. I have the same issue. An indication of when this will be available will help everyone who’s suffering similarly. At the moment with latest firmware the charge 5 is just an ornament.
