Hi,
I've had the charge 5 for a while now, but my HRV is only sporadically measuring and showing on the app. Does anyone have the same problem?
Thanks!

Welcome to the community @OleGold
Thanks for sharing the details regarding this issue with your Charge 5.
Before considering other options, I recommend that you try restarting the device again using the three pulse restart method mentioned here below, instead of the restart option found on the Charge 5 itself:
In addition, please follow the instructions in this article to improve the accuracy of heart rate information and check the information mentioned here about other factors that could affect your heart rate reading, this has been useful to other users who have experienced something similar.

I am having the same issue. I had a Charge 4, which worked great until it broke and I had to get a new one. I bought the Charge 5 two weeks ago and it has been super unreliable. My heart rate is consistently at least 20 points lower than my counted heart rate and will sometimes even read out a resting rate, even while I am riding. (I am counting my beats for either 10 or 15 seconds and then calculating my BPM.) I have tried both of the reset options multiple times and have followed the suggestions listed in all of the articles, but I am still having the same issue.
Is this a consistent issue with other users? Or is my device faulty?

Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
Three pulse restart has never done the trick for me before so that doesn't work unfortunately. Still I get HRV data 1/20 days or less. I really want to know my HRV and be able to track it.

Hi,
I too have this same issue and my device is only been used for month! it’s very disappointing to experience such a failure after paying a premium amount for the device and my main purpose to purchase the device was to track my heart rate during the workouts. Tried contacting their support service through the app but keeps failing. My heart rate appeared to be in peak levels during workouts while I was using the device the first week, since then I have never reached a peak and sometimes according to the device I don’t have a heart rate at all. Every minute during the workouts I need to keep adjusting the device to make it read the heart rate yet it would only read an inaccurate heart rate of 120 levels when actually it should be at peak levels of above 160. Have tried all the ways suggested to get it back to working properly but nothing has worked thus far. Utterly disappointing piece of a device.
