I'm new to the Fitbit ecosystem and of the three 5km runs I've attempted to track using my Charge 5 only the first worked correctly.
The kicker is, the tracker itself shows no faults, I start a run (on the tracker) then jog.. I glance at the band from time to time over the duration and see it's still recording, it vibrates telling me to slow down or keep it up and at the end I tap stop, finish, done.
Then what actually ends up in the app barely resembles the excerise taken. It's as though the GPS stops tracking but the band doesnt inform me..
It's annoying!
Any advice?
J.

Hi, welcome to the Community forums, @JoeyGlover.
Thank you for all the information provided about what you've been experiencing with your Charge 5.
As you mentioned earlier, this could be related to the GPS being disconnected during your workout for some reason. If you haven't done so already, please make sure to follow the steps suggested in this article. All devices with GPS sensors require a direct path to GPS satellites to calculate location. A weak GPS signal might affect the accuracy of your route and other activity data. In particular, please make sure of the following:
If you continue to experience the same behavior and your GPS is getting disconnected, make sure to try following the steps listed in this article to complete a restart, or follow the steps here below:
