Charge 5 SUICA is broken still

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

There is another thread with a bunch of that was marked "resolved" even though this issue is not resolved. Many people buy this watch for it's SUICA functionality, and currently it is unresponsive at train ticket gates. Please allow users to roll back the update or fix this issue!!

The issue is only present as of the latest firmware update on the charge 5. If you are not going to fix the issue, just re-release the old firmware as an update?

Many in the other thread have already switched to Garmin watches.

Yes the IC card function on the charge 5 is currently unresponsive when using it at train stations. It used to quickly scan when passing through the ticket booth, but now it sometimes won't scan no matter how many times you try. Many people are having this issue

@Stalzer Thanks for confirming that you've been having a similar issue with your Charge 5 and Suica.

Before considering other options, could you please confirm if you already followed all the recommendations listed in this article?

In addition, please try restarting your device using the charging cable and check if you continue to have the same problem.
