Charge 5 / Samsung A16 - not showing any step data prior to new phone - old phone phone fine.

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have recently recieved a new Samsung A16 to replace my A13

Fitbit app on old phone still syncs and shows ALL historical data

New phone shows weight & heart rate and other historical data back to 2017 but only shows STEP data back to the date I received the device (3 weeks ago)

Tried everything I can think of. Any advice appreciated

Hello @SoggyMoggy

There's a known issue on the Fitbit side that affects our ability to see some of our historical data. The team is aware of the issue and has been working on fixing the problem.

Apparently, this issue is affecting your new phone, but not your old one.

At this point, there isn't any troubleshooting that we can recommend since this issue is on the Fitbit side.

Thanks. Is there any estimate of time for a resolution for this?

Hello @SoggyMoggy

Have you had a chance to update the Fitbit app to the current Android version, 4.34.1? I've seen users report that updating to this version fixed the issue where they couldn't see their historical data.

Yes I am on 4.34.1 and still only showing step count since new phone arrived. All other data shows previous to this date.

Hello @SoggyMoggy

Thanks for confirming that you're on version 4.34.1.

Please report this issue using the Feedback option in the Fitbit app

  • Tap on your picture in the upper right of the Today page in the Fitbit app
  • Select Feedback in the menu that opens
  • Complete the prompts and submit

Although it's likely that you won't receive a response, the team receives & reviews the feedback reports.

Also, please post in this thread (<-- click link) and tag JuanFitbit, the Moderator. Provide the details of the issue, along with your phone information so that he can forward it to the engineering team so they know what issues weren't fixed with the app update.
