Charge 5 Screen goes black for hours at a time

For about a week now, my charge 5 screen goes unresponsive for hours at a time. It still tracks data and vibrates, but won't show me the time,step count, ect.  It will do this even in the middle of a run, and I can't end my run on the watch, so it screws up my run data.  Plus I use it as a watch, so I don't know what time it is half the time.  I'm pretty frustrated with this, and have been unable to get help from the fitbit team, as they require a twitter account. I don't have one and refuse to get one.

You don't need a twitter account to contact Fitbit support (<-- click link). Click on the link for your options to contact them.
